We have more data than ever (exponentially so). But legacy systems still haven't caught up - the average person spends less than 10 minutes a year with their primary care physician. Health data is at an inflection point and this necessitates an order of magnitude change to the status quo. We built Amatra to develop health data intelligence that meaningfully changes the way we manage the human condition.
Elite sport is a powerful microcosm for the larger healthcare industry: data is fragmented across dozens of systems, high-stakes and time-sensitive. The cost is real: billions in wages are lost each year to preventable injuries, and teams with better availability data consistently win more. Yet the people making critical decisions still work with incomplete information. We are building infrastructure that changes that.
